Inventory Management Software

Peachtree Inventory Control

Using Peachtree Inventory Control Software

My husband has just taken part ownership in the trade show company he works for. They build trade show exhibits and booths. As part of his job he is responsible for all purchasing of materials.

As it so happens he just upgraded the inventory software they use to Peachtree Inventory Control software. The reason he decided to go with this product was because he liked the fact that he could create purchase orders automatically and that would make his job a lot more efficient.

The Peachtree Inventory Control software had a number of features that he liked and that worked well for the business. Because of the type of business, they needed to keep track of the materials needed to build the booths and exhibits. the sales people had a certain number of carpets and wall colors they could sell to clients and the Peachtree Inventory Control program would help him to match up the supply with the demand. There were weeks when it seemed the entire sales staff would sell the same color carpet. He would now be able to check the stock supply as the orders came in as opposed to running low and not knowing.

The Peachtree Inventory Control software also had an option that would allow him to track the orders on the database as they "moved" thru the system from the start to the delivery date. That was going to make things so much more efficient. In addition the Peachtree Inventory Control software would allow him to categorize the inventory based on color, weight, size, and more. Certain items required that type of inventory tracking and he was thrilled to have that option. Not all items could be logged in inventory in a standard way and the Peachtree Inventory Control program had the flexibility for tracking inventory in creative ways.

Being given a "piece" of the business was exciting and now my husband wants to show he was worthy of that choice. He believes that by implementing the new Peachtree Inventory Control software he will be well on his way to showing his worthiness. Not to mention the fact that he believes this new program will make his job easier and allow this relatively small company run as well as some of there larger counterparts. Staying current and up to date on the latest computer options and technology is key to success. The Peachtree Inventory Control program will grow with the business and that will mean not having to spend money on new software in the near future. The time is now and the new software will help tremendously.
