Learning Quickbooks Inventory Software
Our company has used Quickbooks accounting software for a while now and we are beginning to utilize the Quickbooks inventory software as well. My boss did not realize that Quickbooks could be used for more then accounting purposes but now we know better.
The Quickbooks inventory software offers an online two minute tutorial that was very informative. We discovered that using the software would help us keep track of the current number of item in stock and also the total value of the inventory.
As we sell off different item the Quickbooks inventory software would update the value of the current stock supply as well as the stock that has been sold. The software will update automatically with every purchases. It is even capable of keeping track of the stock and the value when we use purchase orders. For our business we sometimes sell over the counter but many times local businesses will use purchase orders when doing business with us. It is great to know that Quickbooks inventory software can handle all of the different types of transactions that we have and keep an accurate inventory count as well as sales value.
Being able to keep an eye on our supply and demand by utilizing the Quickbooks inventory software will provide us with a solution to some problems we have encountered in the past. The rate of error, with employees doing the counts and keeping data in ledgers, is pretty high. Now with the Quickbooks inventory software we will not have to do that anymore. The software will keep track of our stock and sales. With just a quick look at my computer I will be able to see our sales data for the day or the week or even longer. I feel confident that the Quickbooks inventory software will work well for our business. I have read that there are other inventory software programs that you can integrate with Quickbooks in order to handle a larger scope of inventory for bigger businesses, but for our current volume I feel good about staying with the Quickbooks inventory software. The online tutorial was very informative and I found that the customer service was outstanding. They could answer any question that I came up with. that is a good thing because I am still learning about all this software has to offer our business.
